SensorFit Terms of Service
The short version: you can use SensorFit for personal use. The app shows ads. Remove Ads is an optional one-time purchase through Google Play, and refunds follow Google Play's policy. Rep counts come from your phone's sensors and may not be exact. SensorFit is a rep counter, not medical or fitness advice.
1. Agreement
These terms are between you and Brock Hall, the independent developer who publishes SensorFit as OrehRuoy ("we" or "us"). By downloading or using SensorFit, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. License to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SensorFit on devices you own or control. Your use is also subject to the terms of the store you got it from: the Google Play Terms of Service on Android, or Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions on iPhone. We keep all rights in the app, including its code, sounds, and artwork.
3. Remove Ads purchase
- Remove Ads is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It turns off ads in SensorFit on the Google Play account that bought it. It is not a subscription.
- Google Play processes the payment. We never see your payment details.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its own refund policy. Please request one through Google Play.
- Remove Ads applies only to SensorFit. It does not remove ads from or unlock any other OrehRuoy app.
- Reinstall the app while signed in to the same Google Play account to get Remove Ads back on a new device.
4. Third-party ads
SensorFit shows banner and interstitial ads through Google AdMob. Ads are provided by Google and its partners, and we do not control or endorse their content. Your dealings with any advertiser are between you and that advertiser. How Google handles ad data is described in our Privacy Policy. The Remove Ads purchase turns these ads off.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app, except where the law allows it
- Try to bypass purchase or ad checks
- Copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its content
- Use the app for anything unlawful
6. Not medical or fitness advice
SensorFit counts repetitions using your device's proximity and motion sensors. It is not a medical device, and it does not give medical, fitness, or health advice. Rep counts and statistics may be inaccurate. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, exercise within your limits, and stop if you feel pain or discomfort. You use SensorFit and do any exercise at your own risk.
7. No warranty
SensorFit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the app will be error-free or work on every device. Rep counting depends on your device's sensors and how the phone is placed.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages that arise from using or being unable to use SensorFit. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
9. Changes to the app and these terms
We may update the app or change these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top of this page changes too. If you keep using SensorFit after a change, you accept the updated terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the developer lives, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any consumer protections you have under the laws where you live.
