Terms of Service

The short version: you can use Taptico for personal use. Lifetime Unlock is a one-time purchase through Google Play or the App Store, and refunds follow that store's policy. The app comes as is. It is a fidget and focus tool, not a medical device.

1. Agreement

These terms are between you and Brock Hall, the independent developer who publishes Taptico as OrehRuoy ("we" or "us"). By downloading or using Taptico, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. License to use the app

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Taptico on devices you own or control. Your use is also subject to the terms of the store you got it from: the Google Play Terms of Service on Android, or Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions on iPhone. We keep all rights in the app, including its code, sounds, and artwork.

3. Lifetime Unlock purchase

Lifetime Unlock is an optional one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It unlocks Taptico's premium content on the store account that bought it.
Google Play processes the payment on Android, and Apple processes it on iPhone. We never see your payment details.
Refunds are handled by the store under its own refund policy. Please request one through Google Play or Apple.
Lifetime Unlock applies only to Taptico. It does not unlock any other OrehRuoy app, and a purchase on one store does not carry over to the other.
Use Restore Purchases to get Lifetime Unlock back after a reinstall or on a new device signed in to the same store account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app, except where the law allows it
Try to bypass purchase or unlock checks
Copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its content
Use the app for anything unlawful

5. Not a medical device

Taptico is a sensory fidget and focus tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. It is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

6. No warranty

Taptico is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. That includes warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the app will be error-free or work on every device. Haptics and motion features depend on your device's hardware.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages that arise from using or being unable to use Taptico. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

8. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app or change these terms. When the terms change, the date at the top of this page changes too. If you keep using Taptico after a change, you accept the updated terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state where the developer lives, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any consumer protections you have under the laws where you live.
